Candace is not only my sister, but also my best friend. She’s a giving and loving person who has always worked hard in life, and she’s the kind of person who puts others first. Her kindness has touched so many people around her, and now she’s facing one of the toughest challenges of her life. I want to do everything I can to support her.

Recently, Candace was diagnosed with Myxoid liposarcoma, this a rare and cancerous tumor that occurs in the limbs, in her case it has manifested in her upper leg. This diagnosis has been a huge shock to our family, and of course devastating for her. She will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the disease and receive aggressive treatment. Due to the size of the tumor and the location, she is in significant pain, and is unable to work at this time. The stress of not being able to earn an income, on top of fighting this disease, is overwhelming.

The funds raised will go directly toward Candace’s medical bills and help cover her daily living expenses while she focuses on treatment and recovery.
