I was diagnosed with gum cancer (massive maxillary mass / 5.4 cm long / tumor) at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center by Head and Neck Surgeon Dr. Keith Blackwell, MD, and Oral Surgeon/UCLA Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Pafam Afzali, who performed surgery to remove the tumor, almost the entire upper jaw bone, and gum on July 28, 2025. I was hospitalized for a month.
