Dear Friends and Community,

We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved friend Calieanne’s sister, Heaven, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident this past Friday, just a few days before her 34th birthday.

This heartbreaking and sudden loss has left Calieanne and her family in shock and unimaginable grief. The memorial service for Heaven will be held next Sunday in Michigan, and Calieanne is working to travel from San Diego to attend — along with her two young children, Dilly and Jude — so they can be with family and say goodbye.

As many of you know, Calieanne serves as the Assistant to the Artistic Director for the San Diego Women’s Chorus, and she pours so much love and care into her work and community. Now, it’s our turn to support her during this incredibly difficult time.

We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden of last-minute travel, childcare, and time away from work.
