I need help keeping Buster comfortable through pain and passing. I know everyone struggles and asking for money or help felt wrong, but financially we need the help.

My heart is heavy.

My kids feel lost and confused.

All kids have birthdays coming in April, May and June. We are left broke and broken..each kid is wondering if it will be around their birthday when he passes. Affording gifts will be a struggle, expecially when all they want is their dog.

Buster should be 7 in june, but we dont think he will make it to his birthday. We spent thousands just trying to figure out what was wrong.

The diagnosis has left a hole in our family and our hearts....

Buster has osteosarcoma, bone cancer. He has a large tumor in his right ankle that gets bigger by the day, he has lost over 20pounds and this type of cancer is very aggressive..usually spreads to the lungs within a month or 2 and he was misdiagnosed more than once. He is in alot of pain and hopping on 3 legs. Things are not looking good and it feels like we are watching Buster waste away..

He still wags his tail and always stays by a family member. He is still happy, but gets worse every day..

He is not just a dog. He is our baby, our family..he was part of our new beginning.

To amputate it will cost $10,000 and chemo after 2,000 but that wont give him very long. As a family we just can't afford it and to put him through it for a small amount of time is not worth it. We chose to keep him on pain management to be comfortable until we have to euthanize. The cost for meds and comfortable passing is high because he is a giant breed. Currently we are going to the vet often and giving him pain medication.

Financially none of this seems possible,but we are going to do what we can for him and the goal is to keep him comfortable and not to put him through more than he can take..or cause us to lose everything.

I am asking for donations to help us through this...even getting a little could atleast help us pay some of what we owe off..I know we all have struggles and mostly no one speaks up or when they do no one listens, so honestly, even if you took the time to read this I greatly appreciate you!
