As the daughter, I have initiated a fundraising effort to assist with the outstanding expenses associated with my mother's burial. Our family was not prepared for the high cost of the headstone and burial. During this incredibly challenging and painful time, I am reaching out to anyone who is able to provide support. It has been eight months since my mother passed away, and five years since my brother passed away. My mother's wish was to be buried together with my brother, next to her parents, and near her oldest sister, with the eventual goal of having all of her sisters and children buried together. I do not believe she anticipated passing away before her mother, but unfortunately, that was the case. My father was not prepared to let her go and required more time, as did I, to come to terms with the loss. My grandmother, on the other hand, was prepared, as my mother had consistently expressed her desire to be buried together with my brother in the family cemetery, where most of our relatives are laid to rest. My grandmother shared the same wish, and it has been a comfort to know that we will be able to fulfill their wishes. Just over a month ago, we lost my grandmother, which has left me and my family completely shattered. Now that my grandmother has passed away, and all arrangements for her burial have been taken care of, we will be keeping our final promise to her and my mother. At the end of April, they will be laid to rest together, along with my brother. I am reluctant to ask for assistance, especially when it involves financial support, and I would not do so if I were not in absolute need and facing a very short deadline. We have six weeks to raise $2,460 to cover the remaining expenses associated with the headstone and burial. Please consider making a donation if you are able to do so. We are deeply grateful for every contribution during this difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please share this with others.
