Hello, my name is Natalie and I'm a very close friend of the Burch family!

I'm making this fundraiser for them because i know Lauren and Vinny would not ask for it themselves at this point and i hate watching them struggle. Lauren and Vinny have a 3-year-old named Roman and a 5-year-old named Winter who are both absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, though they have been dealt a terrible hand when it comes to their health. Roman has multiple issues but his biggest one being a Mitochondrial disease, Severe Tracheomalacia, Severe GERD and Hypogammaglobulinemia. Roman has been in and out of the hospital his entire life and at this point is going to Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia at least once a week. Every single one of these trips cost their family anywhere from $200-$300 in gas, tolls, food, parking, lodging, and lost wages. As you can imagine this adds up very quickly. Roman will be having a big surgery April 30th called a posterior tracheopexy which can land them inpatient for up to a month due to all of romans health issues and complications he usually encounters. Then in July/August Roman will have another surgery called a Nissen Fundoplication and a G Tube placed. Which again could put them inpatient for an unknown amount of time.

Winter is their daughter who has Autism, PDA Autism, ADHD, ODD, and a brain abnormality she was born with called PVNH. She has to receive multiple therapies a week, sees multiple specialists at chop to monitor her closely for seizures, and she also seems to be having multiple health issues popping up recently and the family was recently informed she may also need a surgery on her sinuses done by late this year. While winters health issues are entirely different and may not seems as severe it still just adds to the families physical, mental and financial strain.

Lauren and Vinny are the best parents I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. they sacrifice everything in their lives for their children and while doing that still would give the shirts off their backs for anyone they know, or even don't know, and love. Lauren works full time as a vet tech, as well as working as a full-time photographer. Vinny works Maintenace and helps with photography as much as possible while they both try to balance their children's intense needs. Please help me in taking away one thing from them, the financial burden, something no parents should have to worry about during these times of having to worry about everything else in their lives.
