It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved friend and sister, Bukky Yakoub—known lovingly as Kari to her friends—who lost her battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma, on Sunday, November 3rd. Bukky fought courageously and with unwavering strength, all the while touching our lives with her love, laughter, and kindness.
As many of you know, Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma is an exceptionally aggressive cancer, and Bukky’s battle required extensive medical treatment and care. In addition to the emotional toll, her family now faces a significant financial burden due to medical expenses and end-of-life costs. Our hope is to come together as a community to help ease this burden, allowing the family to grieve and honor Bukky’s memory without the weight of overwhelming financial stress.

- Funeral and memorial service expenses to honor her life,
