Hello, my name is Lexi Cunningham and this is my beloved kitty, Sparta, also known as Bug. I’ve had Bug for over 10 years now, and about 5 years ago, she developed a sore on her stomach due to excessive licking and chewing. I’ve taken her to multiple vets, and we tried steroids, dermatitis medication, cones, and sweaters. Even a change in diet and environmental enrichment, but nothing seems to help. As soon as she’s healed, she goes straight back to ripping her stomach apart. I have now come to the hard choice of putting her down to end her pain and suffering. There’s a local place in Yreka that does cremation at a very affordable price, but with my current situation and finances, I just can’t afford it myself. I’m asking for help to have her cremated. Thank you for your consideration. The appointment is set for Wednesday, December 17th, and if you’re local, I would have no problem raking leaves or helping around the house.
