Support for Buddy's Family After Tragic Loss

My name is JulieAnn, and I’m reaching out with a broken heart on behalf of our family after the sudden and devastating loss of my nephew, Anthony Buddrick Torres.

He passed away unexpectedly on 5/8/25, leaving all of us in shock and in deep sorrow.

Buddy was just 25 years old full of love, and laughter. He had a rare gift for bringing people together with his humor, his warmth, and his magnetic personality. He was very charming, intelligent, quick witted (like his mom) and the kind of person you'll never forget.

Buddy was recently engaged to the love of his life, and they were planning to get married next year. His future was full of promise, and it’s hard to put into words how deeply this loss is felt.

Our family is now doing everything we can to bring him home to Santa Barbara, CA so we can lay him to rest surrounded by the people who loved him most. The costs of transporting and arranging a funeral have added to the emotional weight we’re carrying, and that’s why I’ve created this fundraiser.

Funds raised will help cover:

-The cost of bringing Bud home.

-Funeral and memorial expenses.

-Support for immediate family and his fiance, during this incredibly difficult time.
