Bud and Cori Chill Pruett

Bud Pruett, a dear friend of mine suffered a major heart attack on Sunday, July 1, while visiting with us in Los Angeles. He has been hospitalized in ICU ever since. The doctors told his wife Cori that only 10 % of patients who present as Bud did survive the first 48 hours, and that those whose survive that, have a 40 to 60 % chance of recovery. Bud , Cori  and Alexa, their beautiful daughter live in Ventura and it has been particularly challenging . The family needs are many including extensive medical bills which are accumulating rapidly. Bud is self-employed and the bread winner of the family, Cori  has taken time off from her work so she can remain in Los Angles  while Bud is cared for. The good news is that he is now breathing on his own, and making good progress in his healing, but the road ahead may be long, with a possible additional procedure and  rehabilitation. My heart is heavy as these beautiful people go through such a difficult time. I've never done a Go Fund Me page before, but I felt this was a way that I could support my dear and deserving friends.
