As many of you know by now, we lost our beloved brother and friend Bryan “B-Hack” Hackett just before the Thanksgiving holiday. No matter how much time passes, those words will never be easy to read/hear/think. I try to find solace in knowing that, though taken from us far too soon, he went out doing something he loved with the person he loved most. Bryan left this world while taking on new adventures and his passion for scuba diving. Accompanied by his partner Hannah, Bryan was in the Philippines upon his departure from this earth. As you can imagine, that added to an already unbearable and difficult time.
Apart from the emotional and physical tolls, there has been a large financial burden in order to get our guy back home. The process has been started and we are expecting his arrival in the next few weeks. That being said, I am hoping to reach the endless amount of people whose lives Bryan touched and ask that IF you can, any help towards any of the costs incurred will be received with an abundance of love and appreciation. Understanding the holidays are among us, a simple share on your social media would more than suffice if a financial contribution isn’t an option.
We tentatively plan to have a memorial and remembrance on Saturday, December 27th from 2-4pm at Memorial Funeral Home. We will be posting more about said service once we can confirm more details about his arrival.
Any additional funds raised beyond what’s needed to cover expenses will
be donated to the local animal shelters in Bryan’s name.
