As many of you know, RJ had been fighting for his life in the ICU. Despite the tireless efforts of multiple doctors and nurses, his battle ended on August 22 at 8:54 a.m. What started as what we thought was a simple stomach bug quickly turned into something no one could have imagined, leaving us all in shock and heartbreak.

Losing someone you love is never easy, but what makes this even harder is that RJ leaves behind his wife and beautiful daughters, now faced with an unimaginable journey of grief while trying to figure out how to keep their home, their car, and cover funeral expenses—with no income to fall back on.

RJ was more than just a husband, father, and brother—he was a friend to so many. He had one of the biggest hearts, and even in his darkest moments, he was always the first to extend a hand to someone in need. Now, in this time of deep sorrow, it is his family who needs support the most.
