Samantha’s brother-in-law is facing an unimaginable ordeal after being attacked by five people during Wannigan Days on July 18th and 19th. The injuries he sustained are severe—he is currently in the hospital at Regions, with shattered eye sockets, broken nose and jaw, displaced cheek bones, and the loss of all his teeth. Doctors have told the family that he will need surgery, possibly several, to begin the long road to recovery. This traumatic event has turned his life upside down, and the emotional and physical toll is overwhelming for him and his loved ones.
