Chris was not only a devoted father but the heart and soul of his family, always putting his children first and making sure they felt loved and supported every single day. His absence has left a void that cannot be filled, and his children and their mother are now struggling to keep up with the basic necessities of life. Message from Brooklyn: My dad is the strongest person I know. He is the best father, and the best friend ever. My dad has withstood so much in his life that I will never know the full extent of. He went through so much on a daily basis to make sure my brother and I have the best possible life. Every single day that he wakes up, he actively chooses to do something that will improve our lives. Whether it was being tired from late-night projects, or just tired of me asking him to do my nails every day, he endured so many stressors that I know he had. But, no matter what, he’s always there at the end of the day with a bowl of Chipotle and open arms. All of this, and the impact that my dad had on me and others could never be wrapped up into just a paragraph. My life will never be the same without my dad.
