Hello, my name is Brooke. My fiancé ( Nick) was hit by a truck last Tuesday. He was standing in a driveway when a truck hit his physical body. Now, by the grace of God, he survived, but he is really messed up. He is still currently in the hospital, and although he has made little progress, he has a long road ahead of him. He suffered a lower back fracture, a broken orbit in his right eye, multiple face fractures, his whole right side of his body has road rash, three fractured vertebrae, fractures in his left foot, and fractures in his pelvis area as well. Anyone that knows him knows he is full of life, and to see him laying there, very rarely waking up, is heartbreaking., They still haven't caught who did this to him, as the truck that hit him did not stop; it took off and left him there lifeless. We have a long road ahead of us, but we will get through this. Now he's not going to be able to work for months, and we don't know what's gonna happen next or when he will be released from the hospital, and the physical therapy after the hospital—everything is still uncertain about what happens next. To top it all off, after he was hit, he was also pickpocketed for his wallet, his phone, etc. We sure could use some prayers, and if you are able to help in any way, we would appreciate it more than you will ever know.
