Norm Barlow was a retired member of UA Local 342, well respected and a mentor to many in the instrumentation field. If a person wanted to learn, Norm wanted to teach. After retiring from the UA, Norm continued his passion for work first at PCA, then at the Nippon Dynawave Plant in Longview, WA. To know Norm was to know that he loved to work, teaching while he did. He was a father figure to many of the young people he worked with, taking them under his wing and sharing his knowledge. But his heart was his daughter Brooke and his grandkids Braelynn, Kolten, Maverick, and Jackson. They were Norm's greatest gifts.
Tragically, Norm was one of the people who died in the chemical tank implosion at Nippon Dynawave. He leaves behind Brooke, who now faces these difficult times with her four children. The loss has left the family not only grieving, but also facing unexpected expenses and challenges.
This fundraiser is to help Brooke pay for family expenses and memorial costs as she navigates these trying times. Any help is deeply appreciated. Please share and donate if you can.
