Hi everyone, my name is Chad, and I’m starting this fundraiser to help support my brother and his family with travel and lodging expenses during an incredibly difficult time. Two days ago, my nephew Brode was in a serious car accident and was airlifted to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV, where he is currently in the ICU. He suffered a significant ear injury and, more concerning, a small brain bleed. Doctors are continuing to run tests to monitor swelling and pressure on his brain over the next days to weeks, so right now we are in a waiting period.

Brode has a long road ahead of him, and my brother and his wife are taking time away from work to be by his side every step of the way. I’m just trying to do whatever I can to help ease some of the financial burden so they can focus on what matters most—being there for their son. If you’re able to give, no matter how small, it would mean so much. And if you can’t, your prayers, shares, and support are just as appreciated.

The outpouring of love from the Ohio Valley has already been incredible. It’s a reminder of how strong and compassionate this community truly is. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
