I’m reaching out for help for my wife, Bridget Weber, who suffered a massive stroke on December 5th of last year. Since then, she’s been in the hospital and is now in a rehabilitation center, working hard every day to regain movement on the left side of her body, which is currently paralyzed. The doctors and therapists are doing everything they can, but it’s a long and difficult road ahead for Bridget and our family.
On top of this, Bridget has been diagnosed with a rare condition called Moya Moya disease. This disease affects the blood vessels that supply blood to the brain, and right now, only two and a half of her vessels are working. She will need to undergo bypass surgery to give her the best chance at recovery and a better quality of life. The uncertainty and stress have been overwhelming, but we are doing our best to stay strong for Bridget and our nine-year-old daughter.
I am working and paying as many bills as I can, but with Bridget unable to work and the added costs of her care, it’s become more than I can manage alone. Any help you can give to my family would mean the world to us. Your support will help cover the bills Bridget can no longer pay and provide for our daughter during this challenging time. Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and for keeping Bridget in your thoughts.
