Our 5-year-old grandson, Bridger Hughes, was involved in a terrible accident yesterday when a vehicle accidentally drove over him. He was life-flighted from North Platte, Nebraska, to Children’s Hospital in Omaha, where he is currently being treated for serious internal injuries. The doctors and nurses are working tirelessly to help him heal, but his recovery will be a long and difficult journey.

Bridger’s parents are staying by his side in Omaha during this difficult time and will be away from work and home while he recovers. The emotional and financial toll of this situation is overwhelming, as they focus all their energy on supporting Bridger and making sure he receives the best care possible. The costs of travel, meals, lodging, and everyday expenses are quickly adding up, and the family is facing many uncertainties in the weeks ahead.
