Caden Jordling, just 17 years old, was in a tragic accident on the evening of April 9th while riding his mini bike. He sustained multiple serious injuries and was rushed to the ER, where doctors immediately took him into emergency surgery. Despite their best efforts to stabilize him and relieve the severe swelling in his brain, Caden's injuries were too traumatic. The doctors tried everything they could, including multiple surgeries to relieve the pressure on his brain, but nothing seemed to help. His CT scans showed he was having strokes every couple of hours, causing his organs to slowly shut down. He was given the maximum amount of medication and life support, but with no improvement and his body failing, it was just a matter of time. At 3:46 am, Brian received the call that no parent should ever have to take—Caden's heart had stopped, and he was no longer with us.

Losing a child is an unimaginable pain. Brian is now facing the hardest days of his life, trying to find the strength to get out of bed, make arrangements for Caden, and support his other children as they grieve the loss of their brother. The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming, and he is more concerned about how his children are coping than himself. As friends and family, we want to help take some of the weight off Brian's shoulders as he faces the difficult weeks ahead.
