On February 17th, our family experienced something we never expected. My brother was suddenly admitted to the hospital after suffering a serious cardiac complication. Due to his underlying condition, Marfan syndrome, a tear occurred in his heart muscle, which disrupted blood flow to his leg and required emergency bypass surgery to restore circulation.

After the initial procedure, doctors became concerned about his kidney function and overall stability. He was transferred to a hospital in Houston, where he is now under the care of a team of cardiovascular specialists who are experienced in treating complex heart conditions like his.

Right now, he is in stable condition and improving, but he will remain hospitalized for continued monitoring, improvement, and physical therapy. His medical team is working carefully to manage his blood pressure, support his kidney function, and allow his heart muscle time to heal with the help of medication and specialized care. He will require heart surgery in the future once he is healed more and his heart is in a healthier place to undergo surgery. Recovery will take time, and the road ahead requires patience, rest, and ongoing treatment.

As you can imagine, an unexpected medical emergency like this brings not only emotional stress but also financial strain. This fundraiser is to help ease the burden of medical-related expenses, hospital costs, travel for specialized care in Houston over the next year, and other bills that continue while he focuses on healing.

If you feel led to give, any amount is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping him in your prayers.

Thank you for your love, support, and encouragement during this time. It truly means more than words can express.
