Let me introduce you a gorgeous couple.. Brendan and his beautiful parter Nat.
There's no sugar coating this... after meeting his soulmate at the beginning of 2020, just 8 weeks later Brendan was diagnosed with cancer.
It is a horrific disease and he has fought this battle with such strength and courage, that I am often left in awe of his determination.
And this incredible man has known his fair share of struggles-in his early twenties, after an car accident, Brendan became an incomplete quadriplegic.
Many would have given up, but not this guy. He found an inner strength that defied the odds- going on to Captain the Collingwood Football Club's wheelchair team.
Brendan has recently ceased chemo treatment for his cancer, and the prognosis is not one we wish to think about. His beautiful partner Natalie has made the decision to take leave from her job as an intensive care nurse, to provide care for Brendan- exactly where she should focus her time, love and energy right now.
Friends, after discussion with Brendan and Nat, they have both accepted my offer to set up a Go Fund Me page to help them out.
I would love for us to collectively take the financial burden off these two, so that they can concentrate on making beautiful memories, providing the best love and care for Brendan, with no care about money.
I know it's a big ask, but when I think about how they have found each other, after both being on such rough journey's, I would love to see them have some beautiful adventures in whatever time there is. We never know what tomorrow holds.
I will make the first contribution.
Who wants to join me?
