On 26th September 2025, Bray’s life changed in an instant. While away with his amazing friends in the Peak District, he decided to take a shortcut home from the pub. On the other side of the fence was a steep slope leading down to a road. He fell, sustaining a traumatic brain injury and multiple facial fractures. He is now in a coma at Royal Stoke Hospital.
Penny, a self-employed single mum, is by Bray’s side in Stoke, supporting him through every step of this unimaginable journey. It is emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausting, but she is holding onto hope and focusing entirely on his recovery.
Doctors do not yet know the outcome, but they have said recovery and rehabilitation could take up to a year. Penny has had to temporarily relocate to Stoke to be with Bray, which brings ongoing costs on top of the emotional strain. She is always the first to help others, and now she needs our support.
This page has been set up to help ease the financial burden and support Bray’s ongoing rehab so Penny can focus entirely on his recovery. Donations will go towards:
• Accommodation costs while Penny is staying with Bray in Stoke
• Travel expenses to and from the hospital
• Everyday living costs while Penny is unable to work
• Supporting Bray’s rehabilitation and recovery needs
If you are unable to donate, please share this page and help keep the positivity going. Every kind thought, prayer, and message makes a real difference.
Thank you for being there for Penny and Bray during this incredibly difficult time.
Come on Bray, we’re all behind you!
