Latoya Lewis is my close friend, and right now, her family is facing a challenge no parent ever expects. Despite everything, Latoya and all of us are deeply grateful that Brandon is getting the care he needs. The cure rate for his type of leukemia is very high, and Brandon himself is a true fighter—he says he has super strength and faces each day with happiness and positivity, even as he deals with side effects. This journey will be long, and the unexpected diagnosis has brought both financial and emotional challenges.
