Hello everyone, my name is Brandon Fitch, and I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart. My grandmother, Maria Carlson (79), recently passed away on December 21, 2024. She was sick for a long time; she had liver failure, heart failure, and lung cancer. Over the several years of multiple doctor's appointments, medicines, treatments, medical equipment, and making accommodations to her home for everything that insurance wouldn’t cover, the financial burden would lie on her or my mother to pay for something. So upon her death, my mother have been notified there are multiple expenses for late medical bills and the hospice room where she passed. My grandmother's passing has struck my family hard, leaving my mother facing a significant financial burden. She has been there for her mother over the several years. She have seen her mother struggle and fight as long as she could; no other family wanted to “deal with it.” So she did what she could, setting up appointments, checking on her, paying for medicine, etc.
