Support for Bradley's Recovery Journey

Donation protected
Hello everyone!

My name is Danielle, and I am starting this page on behalf of my sister Brandy, her boyfriend Kody, and their son Bradley, 3 years old.

As many in our local community have heard, there was a terrible accident that occurred on April 25th.

During the incident, Bradley was struck by a box truck. Once paramedics arrived on the scene, they had to attempt to stabilize Brad before being able to Life Flight him to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital.

After arriving at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, the team of Doctors and Specialists felt that due to some of the injuries Brad had sustained they needed to transport him to a hospital that had Specialists that were able to further treat and address his injuries.
The decision was made to transport him to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia via Life Flight.

The information we are willing to give is this, Bradley's parents are and have been by his side this entire time.

The injuries Brad sustained are mostly to his neck and head. He has fractures to his jaw, his hand, and his orbital bone. He has swelling in his brain and face and bruising to his lungs.
Bradley is currently on a ventilator and is being kept sedated to give his body time to recover and bring down swelling.

At one point, he was awake, alert, and trying to pull the tubing out of his mouth. He has minimal swelling to his actual eyes, and he has no injuries to any of his other major organs/body.

During this time, we the family ask for privacy and respect. The situation is hard to entirely comment on because, in all honestly, we ourselves are waiting to see how things go. His status is currently a wait and see. We will not know how much damage there will be, whether it will be long term, if any.

The family has been overwhelmed with outreach, and it has been hard to update everyone.

Brandy and Kody are staying at the hospital with Bradley.

The hospital has meal vouchers for the family, parking costs, travel costs, etc.. we obviously are unsure of exactly how long the family will be in the hospital, so we aren't sure of all of the costs accruing at this time. We do know that his parents will also be out of work to be there with him to give him all of the support and attention he needs during this time.

Close family is encouraged to check with Brandy or Kody BEFORE attempting to visit due to the strict visitation policy. Only a certain number of people can be there at a given time, and they must be added to a visitor list PRIOR to arriving.

Anyone who knows Bradley knows how contagious his smile is and how his energy lights up a room just by him walking in it. This boy is the happiest little man you could ever meet.

He loves his cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and most of all, his Mommy and Daddy. He is the most caring and sweet little boy.

I know that if any of you have been so lucky to have met Brad, you know this boy is a fighter through and through.

If anyone would like to make/donate prayer blankets or anything for Brandy, Kody, or Bradley, please just reach out to me, Danielle Norris. I will be working with close family to make sure we can get everything we need to them.

I want to thank everyone for all of the prayers and love sent to the family during this time. I would also like to thank everyone in advance for any contributions you are able to make towards the family's expenses during this difficult time.
