Support for Bowdoinham Country Store Employees

On December 4th, the staff of the Bowdoinham Country Store were given 3 days notice before they lose their jobs, just weeks before the holidays.

They have families, bills, and lives to support. Unemployment takes time and will be a fraction of their pay.

I am setting up a GoFund me to help them with lost wages while they figure out if there will still be a store in the near future with new owners, or while they figure out what they need to do.

As a community we feel for them and many have asked and want to know how they can help.

While most of us can't spare much, if we can spare $1 or $5 each, then collectively that can make the difference between paying CMP or rent or defaultng for these folks that have taken on a burden they shouldnt have had to and we all feel for.

The funds will be to account for lost wages.
