It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and devastating loss of Bob Umecker, a devoted life partner to Donna, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who tragically passed away in a home explosion. This unimaginable accident has left our family in profound shock and grief and has forever changed the lives of those who loved him.

Bob and Donna shared a deep, enduring bond, standing by one another through every chapter of life. His passing has been especially devastating for her and for the entire family as they navigate life without him.

Bob was a source of strength, kindness, and unconditional love. He always put family first, helped others without hesitation, and brought warmth and humor to everyone around him. His sudden passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of his children, Teresa Umecker Buturusis and Bobby Umecker, as well as his family members and friends.

In addition to this heartbreaking loss, the explosion destroyed Bob’s home, along with his personal belongings and life savings. Due to declining health, Bob did not have insurance or savings, which had already placed financial strain on him prior to this tragedy. The family is now facing overwhelming and unexpected hardship, including funeral and memorial expenses and the reality of losing everything in an instant.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for support to help ease these burdens so the family can focus on grieving and healing.
