A dear friend of ours, Bob Thompson, has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This news has turned life upside down for Mary and their family, who are now facing a challenging road of medical treatments, appointments, and difficult decisions.

While the focus is — and should be — on healing and time together, the reality is that this diagnosis brings enormous emotional, physical, and logistical strain. The family will need ongoing caregiver support, whether that means professional in-home help, respite care, transportation to treatments, meal assistance, or simply ensuring that loved ones can be present without becoming overwhelmed.
