Support for Blaszcyk Family's Medical Journey

We are fundraising for the Blaszcyk Family to help cover some of their medical bills. Here is their story from mom, Nicole.

As many of you know this past year our two oldest daughters: Abigail and Brooke have had very serious health challenges.

Brooke was in the ER and doctors this fall with low iron and compression syndrome. Then our oldest daughter, Abigail, went into DKA ( Diabetic Ketoacidosis) and was in the ER and ICU for 2 days. This was extremely scary and life threatening.

Then in February after playing a basketball game in Indiana, Brooke double over in pain and was brought to the ER. She was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. Once again, a very scary situation. She was in the hospital for 5 days. Ryan stayed for a week in a hotel. Then Brooke was still not well, I went to Indiana for another 8 days to care for her.

Two weeks later Abigail was very sick and went into DKA again. We were in the ER and ICU again. This was super scary because Abigail was barely breathing and so very sick. Then a week later, Abigail got Influenza B and was in the speciality clinic again.

Then a few days later Abigail had a seizure at her first day at a new job and the ambulance was called which brought her to the ER. Terrifying! After, CT and blood tests were run and came back clean we were let out. We went and ate some food and went to grab things from her car. She went into a grand mal seizure with Ryan and I. She was barely breathing and in extreme distress. The ambulance was called again. Abigail was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul for neurological observation. She was there for 3 days. Abigail was diagnosed with epilepsy.

As you can see by reading this, we have all been through a lot especially our daughters. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
