On December 1st, our community suffered a devastating and senseless loss. Billy "B.J" Brightman a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend was tragically taken from this world in a way no family should ever have to experience.

B.J was the kind of person who made everyone feel safe, seen, and supported. He was a steady presence, a protector, and a provider who worked hard every day for the people he loved most: his wife and his two beautiful daughters. His kindness, generosity, and loyalty touched everyone who knew him. He didn't deserve this and neither did his family.

Now, his wife is left to navigate heartbreak, trauma, and the unimaginable pain of suddenly losing her partner in life. Their daughters are facing a world without their dad. A world he should still be here to guide them through.
