Support for Bindu Surana’s Medical Emergency and Recovery
Donation protected
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to support Megha Jain and Anirban Ghosh, a young couple in Calgary, who are facing an unexpected and overwhelming medical crisis.
After losing her father five years ago, Megha moved from Assam, India to Calgary Canada. Her mother, Bindu Surana, joined her just four months ago on a Super Visa to help her daughters settle into their new life. A warm, vibrant, and compassionate presence, Bindu has long been involved in community service and is known for her generous spirit, always the first to offer a helping hand.
On Saturday, June 7th, 2025, Bindu was rushed to the emergency room at Peter Lougheed Hospital after vomiting blood. She has since been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis—a life-altering and devastating diagnosis for the family. As she does not have permanent residency, Bindu is ineligible for public healthcare, and her family now faces overwhelming out-of-pocket, staggering medical expenses.
We are seeking to raise $10,000 to help cover these unexpected costs and provide some financial relief during this incredibly difficult time.
Bindu has touched many lives with her kindness and charitable work. Now it’s our turn to give back.
Every contribution matters—please donate and share this campaign. Together, we can stand by this family when they need it most.
