On October 31st, our brother Billy was rushed to the hospital for what doctors believed was a stroke. After a week of treatment, he was released, but soon after, he was taken back to the hospital with delayed symptoms. Despite being sent home again, Billy’s condition worsened, and on November 18th, he was admitted with more severe issues. Since then, he has been placed on life support due to an infection that doctors have not been able to identify. Just two days ago, Billy underwent brain surgery in hopes of finding answers. Now, he is on life support and unable to move any of his lower extremities from the neck down.
Billy’s wife, Shannon, has been doing everything she can to keep their family afloat. With two young children—Eddie, who is in school, and Ryan, who needs daycare five days a week—Shannon is balancing work, hospital visits, and caring for their boys. The financial strain of medical bills, living expenses, and the cost of daycare has become overwhelming, especially as she tries to be there for Billy and manage everything at home.
Our family would like to take this time to ask our family, friends, and community for any support you can offer to help ease some of this burden from Shannon in their time of need. Even if you are unable to donate, please keep Billy, Shannon, and their children in your prayers and thoughts. We are sincerely grateful for anything you are able to do. God bless, and thank you so much for your kindness and support.
