Support for Billy Parvin's End of life Expenses
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Roy Stucker and I'm hoping to raise money to help Billy Parvin and his family.
In 2021 Billy was diagnosed with Ocular Melanoma in his right eye at the time. He went ahead with radiation treatments at Dean McGee Eye Institute. The ocular oncologist believed that the cancer was found in an early stage, so when we requested a pet scan the doctor did not feel it was necessary.
Billy completed radiation after only one round and after receiving biopsy results his survival rate for the next 5 years was 95% and the chances of it metastasizing were very low.
In early 2022 Billy began having a hard time walking his legs started going numb this went on for the entire year of 2022. Our daughter was born in August of 2022 and was in the NICU. Billy could no longer walk and was eventually referred to a spinal surgeon, where they discovered his entire spinal cord in his cervical spine was compressed. At his first appointment with the spinal surgeon, he had emergency spinal fusion from C5-TI. After coming home from the hospital his pain increased and was uncontrollable, he could not stand at all. I (Taylor) called his spinal surgeon at 10 P.M on Wednesday and he advised me to take him back to Oklahoma Spine Hospital Emergency Room. As soon as we carried him to the car and got him to the ER his surgeon Directly admitted him and ordered imaging after at results came back one of the screws at TI vertebrae broke that vertebrae in two places and he became paralyzed again. He went back into surgery at midnight on Thursday and with therapy he started regaining mobility in his legs.
In January of 2023 Billy stared getting sick to his stomach he threw up quite often and he was unable to walk short distances without becoming Short of breath slowly his health started deteriorating he refused to eat, and he wouldn’t leave the house anymore because it was too hard on his body.
Then In March of 2023 he went to the ER because he "felt like was dying". Labs were drawn and CT of his abdomen showed lesions on his liver. The ER physician stated he was worried that the cancer had metastasized, but no referral was made, and Billy was sent home with anti-nausea medication. He did not get any better and he started spending all day sleeping and in excruciating pain. He would not eat or drink anything and spent most of the time he was awake throwing up. A few days after our daughters first Birthday. I called the ambulance to take him back to the emergency room he had lost 40 pounds. When we got there the physician ordered another CT of his abdomen which stated he has metastatic carcinoma and anorexia. They sent him home again and told him to see his primary care physician. Billy was suffering and had suffered for a year.
He was past the point of treatment, so he was started on hospice on 8/24/23. He is finally comfortable and no longer suffering he is able to spend time with our one-year-old daughter. Billy has not been able to work for about a year and life doesn't stop. Bills are still due because of his inability to work. We are in need of financial help with funeral expenses, everyday expenses and medical bills any donations are greatly appreciated more than
you know. God Bless and thank you.
