We are starting this GoFundMe for Alaina and Billy Kaelber. Alaina is a full-time paramedic with Trans-Care and a firefighter. Billy is an AEMT and a full-time firefighter at Honey Creek Fire Department. They have 3 wonderful kids that had to witness this tragic event.

While on their annual family vacation in Alabama, Billy went into cardiac arrest at 3:00 AM on June 3rd. Alaina did CPR on him for 10 minutes before fire and rescue arrived. Then they worked on him for another 15 minutes. They did get pulses back, and Billy is with us today. He is currently resting after a trip to the Cath lab in Baldwin Hospital. He is currently in the ICU at the hospital. Hopefully, when he's stable enough, he will be transported back to Indiana where his heart doctors are.

We want to raise this money to lift the burden off Alaina and Billy's plate due to their dedication and hard work they put back into our community. They're more than deserving of this.
