My dad, Bill, has always been the heart of our family—quick with a joke or something wild to say, and deeply passionate about his work as a mechanic. He’s spent most of his life helping others, whether it was fixing cars or lifting spirits with his humor. Now, we’re facing an incredibly painful chapter as he’s been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. What started as a trip to the ER for suspected pneumonia turned into the discovery of a mass on his lung the size of a grapefruit. Since March 16th, his health has declined sharply, and today we learned there are no treatment options left. We are moving forward with in-home hospice care to keep him comfortable and surrounded by loved ones.

This has been very hard for him and for all of us. The funds raised will help cover hospice care, medical bills, living expenses, and any future needs that arise as we navigate this difficult time. We want to make sure my mom and dad have the support they need to focus on each other and on making the most of the time they have together.
