Bill was the kind of person who made a difference in every life he touched. He began his volunteer career as a junior at the East Hampton Volunteer Fire Department, later becoming an active member there before volunteering at the Haddam Neck Volunteer Fire Department. Most recently, Bill served as an active member of the Belgrade Fire Department and worked as a federal security guard, dedicating himself to serving others and keeping his community safe.

Bill was a loving husband to his wife, Diana, and a devoted father to their three children: Spirit, Aurora, and Matthew. He was also a beloved son and brother of three, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. Bill’s sudden passing has left his family heartbroken and facing unexpected challenges. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and his passion for the outdoors was matched only by his commitment to volunteering and helping those in need. Bill took pride in everything he did, whether it was supporting his family, serving his community, or simply being there for friends and neighbors.
