William "Bill" Shepherd is bidding farewell to his earthly body and reuniting with his beloved wife Nicole, his nephews Dusty and Chris whom he loved dearly, his parents, and many others he has lost throughout his life. Bill has faced many medical ailments that have caused him significant pain and suffering. Early Friday morning, Bill suffered several cardiac events that led his children and family to make the difficult decision to begin comfort care, with the intention to remove his ventilator.

Bill was not a perfect man, but he was a friend to so many. He enjoyed cars, fishing, collecting knives, and always loved a good party. His life was filled with laughter, stories, and the kind of memories that bring people together. Bill leaves behind a large and loving family: six children, twenty-two grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Each of them will miss him dearly and cherish the memories they shared.

As we prepare to say goodbye, we are faced with the unexpected burden of end-of-life expenses. We are reaching out to our community for support.
