Support for Bev Bosselman during Cancer Treatment

Hello, my name is Nancy La Franca, and I am attempting to coordinate a Fund Raiser, for my dearest friend of 43 years, Beverly Bosselman. She recently turned 63 years of age, is a single Mother, and Grandmother to two beautiful girls, ages 4 and 11.

Bev is a Nursing Assistant for Mercy Health Hospice, and has dedicated 28 years of service, and a true leader in her profession. Recently on September 4th 2021, she was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Treatment for this Cancer, will began on October 4th 2021. Her treatment involves Chemo/Radiation lasting approximately 6 weeks, and then a reevaluation of her condition.

Bev has been absent from her job, since August 3, 2021 when said issues began. Due to mounting bills, Bev has had no choice but to break into her 401B which is nearly depleted. She is taking an approximate loss of $1000 to $1200 dollars per month. Short term disability is barely keeping her above water. She has always been a great juggler when it comes to her finances, but her worries are more than evident, as the days go forward. Her medical co-pays, have already exceeded $2000, which have included several tests medications, and as well surgery. These required bills, being added to her personal obligations, Rent Utilities, Insurances etc. etc. are quickly mounting, and in excess of $1895 per month.

Bev has always been an extremely positive person, and has always been on the giving side of life, and it has been a rarity for her to ask for or request anything for herself. She has given her heart and soul to each and every one of her patients over the years. Sadly, Bev is on the other side of her profession. Her steadfast strength for love of others, including myself, friends family and strangers, is admirable.

In March of this year, Bev suffered a terrible loss, when her sister passed away. Again, Bev’s “Faith over Fear” attitude has helped her push through the grief one day at a time…the exact way she lives her life daily. I remain in awe of her Faith in God, and her joyful positive attitude.

Unfortunately, Finances remain, and present themselves with a vengeance. Today I am asking for ANY financial assistance one might be able to offer…And most of all your fervent prayers for her recovery from this dreadful disease. She has done literally 40,000 visits to those in need throughout her career, and with a joyful heart. I feel in my heart and soul, she has more than earned, a helping hand .
