Support for Bethany LeBlanc

I'm creating this GoFund Me campaign on behalf of a local (Dryden, NY) mother of 3, Bethany LeBlanc. Bethany has had an undiagnosed progressive neurological and autoimmune illness for the past couple of years, has steadily lost her strength and balance, and been unable to work much. She had a bad fall about 2 weeks ago, was hospitalized in the neurology unit in Syracuse, and suffers from painful muscle spasms as well as nerve pain; she has had multiple other falls since and many other disabling symptoms . Currently she has only minimal use of her right side. She can't be alone and is unable to help care for their three children. She's currently mobile using a walker and wheelchair for lab or doctor's appointments.

Bethany is now at home rehabilitating after nearly a week in the hospital of testing and determining better treatment options. She is receiving PT and OT, but is currently unable to stand for any amount of time.

Bethany is a talented artist who has recently been building up her business by offering painting parties in the community to help their financial situation. She is really stressed about their family finances, with her inability to work, and added medical expenses due to her recent decline. Additionally, part of her treatment before this current crisis was following a specific diet, and now the family is not able to purchase the high-quality foods that help her most. She wants her 3 children to have a joyful Christmas. We know that reducing her stress is the very best way to help Bethany heal.
