Support for Bethany and Allan Walters

This is Bethany Walters. I am very close to her family.   They mean a lot to me.    Bethany is 25 years old and is currently living in Oklahoma.  Bethany like many Americans has suffered the harsh reality of contracting Covid-19.  Bethany and her husband Allan both started experiencing symptoms on October 6th. At first, they were the same, and then Bethany got hit harder faster. She went into the emergency room on the 15th and was admitted. Allan went to the ER on the 16th but they were short on beds and they thought he’d be ok at home.  Bethany’s symptoms were very severe.  Shortness of breath and fatigue pushed her body to its limits.  We are very thankful that Bethany began to improve around October 21. (Day 7 in ER). She was able to be taken off of high flow oxygen and is showing stability through her nasal Canula only. 

As I mentioned earlier thousands of people have been hospitalized due to Covid-19.  The idea of helping thousands of folks experiencing the physical, emotional, and financial fallout that follows a Covid-19 hospital stay is overwhelming.  We can however help this family.  Currently, after insurance Bethany and Allan are looking at a bill of around 7,500 as of today.  We are not sure what long-term health interventions both Bethany and Allan will need.  I hope that if you are reading this message you would be willing to make a financial donation of any size.  We are also asking for continued prayers for Bethany, Allan, and their extended family.
