Support for Bertín's Family After His Sudden Loss

Hello everyone. On February 3rd around 4:45 am, my uncle Bertín, while sleeping, had difficulties breathing. When his wife and sons noticed, they rushed to try and help in any way. When I got the news, I ran to them to call 911 and get first responders. We provided CPR while first responders got to us, but his heart didn’t respond.

He was rushed to the emergency room, but minutes later we were informed he didn’t make it.

He leaves behind a wife, due in March with her baby boy, and their 3 teen boys.

His body will be sent back to Mexico where his parents will say their last goodbyes.

He only came to this amazing country for a better future for his children and wife. He was 39 years old so excited for their new baby on the way. Unfortunately, he will not be able to meet him.

Hola a todos! El lunes, 3 de febrero por la mañana, mi tío Bertín, mientras dormía, Elvia, su esposa, se dio cuenta que él estaba batallando para respirar. Ella corrió por sus hijos para que ayudaran. Mientras ellos lo ayudaban, yo, su sobrina, vivo al lado, corrí para ver en qué podía ayudar y llamé a emergencias. Nos indicaron que hiciéramos RCP mientras ellos llegaban. En tan solo minutos, la ambulancia llegó y se lo llevaron al hospital. En minutos nos avisaron que él ya no respiraba y que no había nada más que hacer.

Él deja a su esposa que se alivia en marzo con su bebé y 3 hijos más.

Si alguien gusta ayudar, él será llevado a México donde están sus padres y podrán despedirse de él.

Él solo venía al sueño americano como muchos lo hacemos. Desgraciadamente, se nos adelantó a los 39 años de edad.
