Hello, I am Lauren, and my roommate and friend, Benni was struck by a vehicle Sunday morning near Don Fox Park while walking to work. She is in a somewhat stable condition at Vanderbilt but has suffered a broken jaw, several broken ribs, a possible collapsed lung, and brain bleed. The full extent of her injuries is not fully known, nor how long her recovery will be.
