Support for Benito's Family After His Passing

On January 16th, my dad, Benito, was rushed to the ER at Valleywise Hospital after being found unconscious at home.

His oxygen levels were critically low, and he was diagnosed with pneumonia. As someone who already had numerous health complications, his body struggled to recover.

Over the next two weeks, he fought hard through lung collapse, intubation(twice), and a range of medications aimed at managing the pneumonia, his blood pressure, blood sugar, and pain. Despite all efforts, his oxygen levels remained unstable, but we held on to hope.

As January 31st approached, my dad's condition became increasingly fragile. Thankfully, my sister, my mom, and I were able to be by his side and say our goodbyes.
