Support for Belle & the Santos Family
Please help support the Santos family as they rally around their 6-year-old daughter Belle who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor.
Background
On August 10, 2021, the Santos’ family’s youngest daughter, Belle, suddenly became ill while attending a birthday party in Houston. Her sense of balance was impaired, impacting her ability to walk. In addition, her speech became slurred. Initially suspecting heat stroke, she was taken to the ER for evaluation.
Her parents Jessica and Adam quickly learned her condition was much more serious than anyone could have realized - a tumor was found in Belle's brain stem.
Belle will undergo a biopsy on Tuesday, August 17. Depending on the outcome, she may be eligible for a clinical trial. In addition, Belle will undergo seven weeks of radiation treatment, which doctors hope will provide temporary relief from the tumor.
Why Donate?
The Santos family faces a large financial burden as they care for Belle, along with her sisters Ella and Lina. This fundraiser will help cover living expenses during their time off work, along with medical expenses incurred by Belle’s treatment.
