On Tuesday the 4th of August at 6:07 pm, over 2700 tonnes worth of ammonium nitrates exploded in the heart of Beirut.
The explosion took 160 + innocent lives, injured 5,000+ with many dozens still missing. Additionally, over 300,000 are now displaced and require immediate assistance such as food and shelter.
Infrastructure within 5 miles of the explosion has been completely destroyed with damage extending as far as 30miles and caused a 4.1 mag earthquake that was felt in Cyprus (150miles away). The cost of damages is over 10 billion pounds. This is now believed to be the 3rd most powerful explosion ever recorded behind Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
I will be going to Lebanon at my own expenses on the 29th of August and your donation will directly go to a person or a family in need and I will provide updates whilst I am there.
I am appealing to anyone to donate and help provide meals, medicine and shelter for the families in Lebanon. Any donation will make a big difference.
