My sister Becky has had her world turned upside down with life threatening medical issues and desperately needs people to come alongside and support in any way you can. Becky is a generous and kind person to all and I pray that she will be able to recover from this. Story:

On Friday, March 8th, Becky experienced a sudden and severe heart attack while at work, necessitating an emergency trip to Methodist North Hospital. The medical team acted swiftly, administering aspirin and nitroglycerin to stabilize her condition.

Saturday, March 9th: Becky underwent surgery, revealing three critical blockages in her Widow Maker artery, which supplies half of the heart's blood. The procedure involved angioplasty to widen the blocked artery. Despite the hope to treat with medication, complications arose, and she faced another massive heart attack the following morning.

Sunday, March 10th: Another surgery ensued, with doctors placing four stents and a wire to address the severe blockages. The procedure was complex due to her thin and curly arteries, posing significant risks. Miraculously, she pulled through and we are so thankful for this. She has been through severe trauma this past and we pray for her health and recovery.

Current Situation: Becky faces a prolonged recovery period, requiring significant lifestyle adjustments, including lifelong heart medication and dietary changes. Additionally, she must attend cardiac rehabilitation four times a week for at least 12 weeks.

Added Complications: Prior to the heart attack, Becky was dealing with a sizable cyst on her right ovary, necessitating surgery. However, this procedure has been delayed due to her cardiac condition. Further, there's uncertainty regarding whether the cyst is benign or cancerous, adding to the stress and uncertainty.

Support Needed: Becky will be unable to work for an extended period, compounding the financial strain. Moreover, the medical bills for the emergency procedures, ongoing treatment, and future surgeries are daunting. She's also faced with unexpected expenses due to her recovery, including transportation and specialized care.
