Hi All,
On Friday, March 11th Becca went skiing in Park City, Utah with friends. In the blink of an eye, she took a hard fall and was knocked unconscious. Upon regaining consciousness, it was decided that she needed to be taken to the University of Utah’s Trauma Center for further evaluation because she was unable to move her lower body and was having trouble communicating. She was transported by toboggan to an ambulance.
After multiple tests and evaluations, it was determined Becca suffered from a Traumatic Brain Injury. Specifically, she had a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a type of stroke and skull fracture with minor bleeds in the brain stem and frontal lobe. If she wasn’t wearing a helmet, she may have died. In the three weeks that have followed, Becca has been working on her road recovery. It hasn’t been an easy feat, but she is feeling better each day and making serious strides.
If you know Becca, you know she's one of the kindest and most selfless people you'll ever meet. She'd do anything for her family and friends, and right now, she needs our help. Even with insurance, her medical expenses are totaling over 7k. Moreover, she's unable to work while in recovery. If you can share this page and help donate in any way it would be greatly appreciated!
