Sharlene was recently involved in a single vehicle car accident she was passenger in, on her way to begin celebrating finishing high school.
Due to a series of beyond devastating events, Sharlene has sustained very serious injuries which have left her on life support.
Sharlene's family's lives have changed in an instant, and will never be the same.

The family has let me know that there are many people who have been seeking to help support them during this time. My hope is that this page will allow for a meaningful way to do that, where we can show our love and support, while assisting with costs and regular household bills to give them one less thing to worry about during this most difficult time.
This is a family who would not have been considering seeking help, but I believe (as I'm sure many of you do) that it's important for them to have one less worry during this time and to only have to focus on what's important.

I am Tash Smith from Burrum Heads in Queensland. I have organised this page for the Urosevic family who live just down the road from me. I have known this family for 11 years when we met thanks to horses. At the time we all lived at the Gold Coast, where Jaydene and Sharlene attended Tamborine Mountain School. Years later, almost simultaneously, we all moved to Hervey Bay.
The funds raised here will be put towards household bills and expenses, general daily costs - made more complex when not working for a period of time to be there for loved ones in hospital. They will also assist with travel costs, as Sharlene is in hospital in Brisbane. Also during this time of a world pandemic, Sharlene's mother has needed to fly in from overseas at a moments notice - whereby some of the funds raised here can assist in flight costs. Sharlene's farther is taking time off work to be there with his daughter, and therefore some funding is to relieve his mind, that he does not have to rush back to work to pay for necessary costs involved in these circumstances.
I am setting up GoFundMe so that the Urosevic family is able to directly withdraw money themselves.
