Hi my name is Dawn Brandow and I’m a friend of a family in need. Their lives have been turned upside down very unexpectedly with a life long health concern with their young son whose name is Beau. I asked his mom Keisha and his dad Andy if I could have their permission to do this for them. The expenses are going to be overbearing with the rising costs of health insurance and being a small business owner please do what you can to help this beautiful family out. This is every parents nightmare and thank God he is in the right place getting the best care. I asked Keisha to write a brief story about what happened in her own words. That is written below. Our world was turned upside down this week when our sweet 7-year-old son, Beau, was rushed to the hospital. What we thought might be a stomach bug or the flu turned into every parent’s worst nightmare. Beau had gone into an undiagnosed diabetic coma.

Seeing him in a hospital bed, hooked up to machines, has been the hardest thing we have ever had to go through. We are so grateful that the doctors were able to stabilize him, but we have a long road of recovery and lifestyle adjustments ahead of us as we learn to navigate his new diagnosis.

To make matters much more difficult, we currently do not have health insurance for Beau. The cost of the ICU stay, the emergency treatment, and the ongoing supplies he will need (insulin, monitors, etc.) are already piling up, and the financial burden is overwhelming.

So many of you have reached out asking how you can help. This page was set up to help cover Beau’s medical bills and get him the care he needs to get back to being the happy, energetic boy we all know.
